2.About PNGGPE 2021

The 1st Expert Forum on the New Progress in Petroleum Geology and Exploration & Development Conference was successfully held in Xi’an Shiyou University. More than 200 delegates from petroleum companies and universities attended the conference. The forum mainly reported the latest advances of petroleum and natural gas geology research as well as development and exploration in recent years, which have important academic and practical significance.

The 2nd International Expert Forum on the New Progress in Petroleum Geology and Exploration & Development Conference (NPPGED 2021) will be held in Xi'an, China on November 12-14, 2021. The conference was organized by Shaanxi Petroleum Society, Shaanxi Key Laboratory of Petroleum Accumulation Geology, Shaanxi Cooperative Innovation Center of Unconventional Oil and Gas, and co-organized by Xi'an Shiyou University and Academic Exchange Information Center. With the rapid development of the economy and society, China’s energy wanting is increasingly aggravated, forcing the industry to enhance petroleum exploration. The conference aims to provide a platform for experts, scholars, engineers and technical researchers as well as college graduates to engage in petroleum and natural gas geology exploration and development, and share scientific research achievements and cutting-edge technologies. Besides, it also helps the attendees to understand academic development trends, broaden research ideas, strengthen academic research and discussion, and promote industrialization of academic achievements. Experts, scholars, businessmen and other relevant professionals from universities and scientific research institutions at home and abroad are welcome to attend the conference. Especially, those who have innovative ideas or unorthodox thinking with regard to petroleum geology and exploration/development are strongly encouraged to share their studies at our forum.
