China has stepped into the era of rapid development of space science applications, in which automation as a basic support discipline provides key theoretical and technical support. The 2022 International Conference on Automation and Space Science and Technology (ASST 2021) will be held in Changsha, Hunan, China, during January 14-16, 2022.
