1. About ICEERT 2022
As an important engine for China's economic growth, rail transit drives the extensive development of emerging technologies such as big data, electrical engineering, and the industrial Internet. Since China has proposed the objective of achieving "carbon peaking" in 2030 and "carbon neutrality" in 2060, how to promote the intelligent, low-carbon, and circular development of rail transit and build a clean, safe, and efficient energy system has attracted widespread interest. Building a green and intelligent mode for rail transit operation while maintaining the prosperity of the social economy is of great significance in the application of the new technology paradigm and the research on the information control and electrical engineering of rail transit as well as other related topics.

Hosted by the Central South University and organized by the School of Traffic & Transportation Engineering of Central South University , the 2^nd International Conference on Information Control, Electrical Engineering and Rail Transit (ICEERT 2022) will be held in Changsha, China on 21–23 October 2022. The conference will provide an international multidisciplinary cross-fertilization platform for outstanding experts, scholars, and industrial talents from home and abroad who focus on this research area to exchange new ideas and present their research results, with the aim of exploring a new green and intelligent mode of rail transit operation to boost the digital transformation of rail transit. Experts and scholars from international universities and research institutes, businessmen, and other relevant personnel are all welcomed to participate in ICEERT 2022.

ICEERT 2021 was successfully held on October 30, 2021, in Kunming, China. And all accepted papers were published by Conference Publishing Services (CPS) and indexed by IEEE Xplore, EI Compendex, and Scopus.
