The 2^nd International Symposium on Urban Public Safety and Emergency Rescue (2^nd UPSER 2023) will be held during May 26-28, 2023 in Changzhou, a Chinese famous historic and cultural city.Experts and scholars from around the world in urban public safety and emergency rescue and related fields will be cordially invited to attend the Symposium to report and exchange new concepts, methods, technologies, and progress.

 A series of activities will be held in the Symposium, including six thematic forums on urban public safety, petrochemical production safety, emergency management and rescue, intelligent security and informatization, new energy and new material safety and discipline and professional construction of safety science and engineering. Moreover, the unveiling ceremony of the School of Safety Science and Engineering and the School of Emergency Management Science and Engineering of Changzhou University will be held.
