International Conference on Fluid Power and Mechatronics (previously named international symposium on Fluid Power Transmission and Control) is a series conference organized by Fluid Power Transmission and Control Institution, Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (FPTCI, CMES). The previous six conferences were successfully held in Beijing, 1991, Shanghai, 1995, Harbin, 1999, Wuhan, 2003, Qinhuangdao, 2007 and Beijing, 2011. The aim of the conference is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers and students from both industries and universities to exchange their ideas and techniques on the development of fluid power and mechatronics technology. The seventh international conference on Fluid Power and Robotics will be held in Harbin,China in August, 2015.

The aim of the conference is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers and students from both industrial and universities to exchange their ideas and newly developing technologies for the development of Fluid Power and Mechatronics.

Harbin is the capital and largest city of Heilongjiang province, North-East China. Harbin is well known for its beautiful ice sculpture festival which is the largest in the world. Besides it is also being notable for its historical Russian legacy.
