the 8th International Conference on Fire Science and Fire Protection Engineering 2017-10-27 venue:南京市

As an important branch of the field of public safety, Fire Science and Fire Protection Engineering is a new interdisciplinary subject which involves the fields of physics, civil engineering, chemical engineering, architecture, mathematics and so on. In order to provide a discussion platform for knowledge and views exchange about promoting the development of fire research and fire engineering, and making the performance-based fire protection design more scientific and standardized, the 8th International Conference on Fire Science and Fire Protection Engineering (on the Development of Performance-based Fire Code) is scheduled to be held in Nanjing, on October 27th-29th, 2017. The conference is jointly organized by Nanjing Tech University,University of Science and Technology of China, Sun Yat-sen University and Tianjin Fire Research Institute of MPS, specifically held by the Key Laboratory of Chemical Process Safe Production of State Administration of Work Safety, Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Urban and Industrial Safety, and co-organized with Tsinghua University, Wuhan University, Northeastern University, China University of Mining and Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University, Wuhan University of Technology and Zhengzhou University of Light Industry. The Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, City University of Hong Kong, (Taiwan) Chinese Fire Protection Association and Elsevier Press will also provide assistance to the conference.
