WELCOME ADDRESS

On behalf of the organizers, we would like to invite you to The 4th International Symposium for Persistent, Bioaccumulating and Toxic Substances (PBTs) in Shenzhen, China, June 22-23rd, 2019.

This international symposium is relied on the "International Joint Research Center for Persistent Toxic Substances", led by Harbin Institute of Technology. It focuses on international frontier issues including migration, transformation, fate and control of persistence, bioaccumulating and toxic substances (PBTs). With the aim to provide a high-level brainstorming forum for experts at home and abroad, the international symposium has been successfully held for three sessions. The participants’ experts and scholars were from more than ten countries, including China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Russia, India, the Netherlands, Finland, Japan, South Korea and Vietnam etc.

The 4th International Symposium for Persistent, Bioaccumulating and Toxic Substances (PBTs) aims at providing a major interdisciplinary forum with the focus on the chemistry, toxicology and control technologies of PBTs and typical organic pollutants for presenting new approaches and new ideas for scientists. It covers environmental chemistry, environmental toxicology, long-distance transport of semi-volatile organic compounds, new pollutants, environment and health, and pollutant control.
