SPIES History: 

SPIES 2019 was Technically Supported by Prince of Songkla University, Changmai University, Universiti Tenaga Nasional, University of Malaya, Tsinghua University and Curtin University. SPIES 2019 papers have been presented in IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (EES) (ISSN: 1755-1315), which have been indexed in EI compendex and Scopus.

SPIES 2020 was Technically Supported by Prince of Songkla University, Changmai Unversity, Universiti Tenaga Nasional, University of Malaya,Tsinghua University, KITAMI Institute of Technology, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, Universite de Bretagne Occidentable and Shanghai University of Electric Power, China. SPIES 2020 was held successfully during September 15-18, 2020.

SPIES 2021 was hosted by Shanghai University of Electric Power and Technically Supported by IEEE Industry Applications Society, South Asia Institute of Science and Engineering, KITAMI Institute of Technology, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, University of Western Brittany, Federation University and Curtin University. SPIES 2021 was held successfully during September 25-28, 2021.

SPIES 2022 was held successfully online in Beijing, China during December 9-12, 2022. SPIES 2022 was co-sponsored by Tsinghua University and Shandong University, and technically supported by IEEE Industry Applications Society, IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, IEEE Power, and Energy Society. 

SPIES 2023 was held successfully in Shenyang, China during December 1-4, 2023. SPIES 2023 was co-sponsored by Shenyang University of Technology and Northeastern University, China.

SPIES 2024 was held successfully in Khalifa University, UAE during December 4-6, 2024. SPIES 2024 was co-sponsored by Khalifa University, UAE, IEEE IAS and PES. And it was also technically supported by University of Vaasa, Macquarie University, Chiang Mai Unversity, Universite de Bretagne Occidentable, University of Nottingham and Auckland University of Technology.

SPIES 2025 was held successfully in Shanghai, China during October 17-20, 2025. SPIES 2025 was sponsored by Shanghai University of Electric Power, China and technically co-sponsored by IEEE PES and IEEE IAS. And it was also technically supported by University of Vaasa, Macquarie University, Chiang Mai University, Université de Bretagne Occidentale, University of Nottingham and Auckland University of Technology, Journal of Shanghai University of Electric Power and Virtual Teaching and Research Section for Electrical Engineering and Automation Specialization of the Ministry of Education.
