First Announcement and Call for Papers

I. Conference Background

International Conference on “Fundamental Bases of Mechanochemical Technologies” has been held for 5 times since 2004 in Russia. The 6th conference will be held in Guangzhou, China, on November 20-23, 2020.

Mechanochemistry investigates physicochemical processes accompanying mechanical treatments of solids and resulting in chemical reactions, increased reactivity, modified physical properties of solids and formation of new powder materials.

Mechanochemical Technologies focus on energy saving, high efficiency, eco-friendly, safety and other obvious advantages, and then could provide new technical routes for realizing the green concept of “Obtain From Nature, and Return to Nature”. The papers presented at the conference will demonstrate the latest progress and development trends in the field of mechanochemistry applications, which will promote the exchange of theoretical and applied results and further to promote full-scale industrialization and marketing.

III. Submission Themes

a) Mechanochemical Theory Aspects: Activation, Reactions, Kinetics and Mechanism.

b) Mechanochemical Processing and Synthesis: Metallic, Composite, Energetic, Organic and Inorganic Materials.

c) Mechanochemical Recycling and Extraction: Biomass, Minerals and Wastes of Solid and Soft Materials.

d) New Mechanochemical Products and Technologies:  Materials, Medicines, Food additives, Devices and Facilities.

e) Mechanochemical Treatment of Polymers: Synthesis, Improvement, Composite and Recycling.

IV. Abstracts Submission Requirements

The conference will collect a wide range of papers and abstracts (in English) on mechanochemistry and other related topics like chemical engineering, materials science, bioengineering, etc. All selected Abstracts will be uniformly printed before the Conference. The Conference Academic Program Committee will select full-papers submitted for publication in peer-reviewed Journals.

April 1, 2020 – First-round submission of the on-line registration form with a tentative presentation title 

June 15, 2020 – First-round submission of abstracts 

August 15, 2020 - Abstracts selection and confirmation of acceptance for participants

September 15, 2020 - Payment of the registration fee

October 20, 2020 - Submission of the hotel selection form

November 20, 2020 - Conference opening ceremony

Preliminary Program will be published on the Conference WEB-site before the end of September.
