The International Conference on Fire Science and Fire Engineering was initiated in 2004 and is an academic conference jointly organized by the China Fire Protection Association, Tsinghua University, University of Science and Technology of China, City University of Hong Kong, and others. The aim is to explore new trends in the development of international fire science, analyze problems in practical applications of fire engineering, explore the framework and concept of performance-based design, and promote the development and application of fire science and fire engineering, To provide a platform for academic exchange among scientists conducting cutting-edge research activities in this field, in order to promote the development and influence of fire science and fire engineering disciplines. The International Symposium on Fire Science and Fire Engineering has been successfully held for nine times in Hong Kong, Taipei, Beijing, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Nanjing, Chengdu, and other places.
