2021 Global Food Science Student Virtual Competition Finalists


Congratulations to all the 2021 Global Food Science Student Virtual Competition Finalists! And thanks to all the participants. Due to the active engagement of graduate students from all over the world, the amount of finalist slots was increased from 20 to a maximum of 24, with an increase of one gold prize, one silver prize and two bronze prizes. The finalists’ prizes are now: one platinum, three gold, four silver and sixteen bronze prizes.

 

The sponsor of this competition was originally named as Wang Zhang Fellowship Foundation to honor one of the Food Science subject founders in China, Professor Wang Zhang, who has devoted his whole life to Food Science teaching and researching. Now, as his wife Professor Xu Shiying, the other Food Science pioneer in China, passed away on July 23, 2021, the name of the foundation was change to Wang Zhang and Xu Shiying Foundation. This foundation will continue to train and support graduate students who have an interest in Food Science education and researching that will advance the development of food industry as well as the well-being of people.
