Dear Sir/Madam,

In order to promote academic exchanges in Chinese architecture industry and
enhance mutual understanding by gathering academics, professionals and
technical personnel to discuss the major theoretical and practical issues that put in front of us in the new architecture technology home and abroad, Architecture Technology Committee of Architects Council of Chinese Architecture Institute together with Huazhong University of Science and Technology is in the proposed to held “the 12th Chinese Architecture
Technology Symposium of 2008 Green Building and New Architecture Technology Development International Conference” during October 24th to
October 27th,2008. Experts and scholars from well-known domestic and
foreign institutions and related fields will attend this international conference and
give a speech then. The amount of participates is expected to be about 150 people.

The contractor of this international conference is School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. The conference focus on two themes: green building and the combination of high-tech applications and prospects，architectural technology teaching curriculum design and research. Key issues for discussion in the conference are as follows:
Green building design research
Green building indoor environment research
Green building venues and the environment research
Green building energy-use research
Green building utilization of water resources research
Green building materials and resources research
Green building operation and management research
Architectural technology teaching courses exchanges and achievement research

You should pay attention to the following requirements:
1.      Conference fees.
Each foreign representative participates’ registration fee is $1000, for foreign students is $500.
2.      Important dates
Submission deadline: August 1st, 2008
Conference date: Oct.24, 2008 to Oct.27, 2008
