Tianjin is located ~100 km southeast to Beijing. It was a seaport city and a center for economical development area in North China. In 2008, it is a venue for Beijing Olympic Games. You will meet here“the real, traditional and modern China”.

Congress Program:
August 25-26 Pre-Congress Workshops
August 27-31 The Congress with papers, posters, seminars, panel discussions, conversation with, and social program.

Pre- and Post-Congress Activities:
Pre-Congress stay in Beijing during the Olympics (080808-080824) and post-Congress tours to Shanghai, Hongkong etc. will be initiated in combination with the congress.
Travels:
Tianjin can be reached by bus from Beijing International Airport or by trains from Downtown of Beijing, by flights from Shanghai, Hongkong, Tokyo and Seoul, etc. If there is enough number of participants from one country it could be good to discuss with the National Olympic Commitée about possibilities to go to Beijing with the flights which will take the athletes back and return with the flights bringing the disable athletes to Beijing for the Para Olympics (starting 080907).
Congress fees:
$400 or Eur 300 for those registering before 071231
$475 or Eur 350 for registering 1.1 - 1.5.2008
$550 or Eur 400 for registering after May 1st, 2008
The fee will cover:
* The Congress program incl. Congress material and attendance certificates
* Welcome reception
* Sightseeing tour in Tianjin
* Lunch tickets
* Farewell banquet
Hotels:
A choice of hotels will be offered from more expensive 5 star hotels over to very
inexpensive student hostels.
Limited number of participants:
No more than 700 participants will be allowed to the Congress (excluded are accompanies, for whom a special social program will be organized). This means that a stop will be made after the first 700 registrants. However, by making a preliminary, not binding registration you will be sure to belong to these 700.
