题名：Canadians, Cookies and International Cooperation: The Role of Christine Jacobs

摘要：In the history of international cooperation in indexing, the name of Christine Jacobs is writ large. Or it would be, were indexers not such an unassuming lot.

Christine Jacobs has guided both international cooperation and the Indexing Society of Canada / Société canadienne d’indexation (ISC/SCI) in matters large and small since the early 1990s, a few years after she joined the society in 1985. She was the representative for Eastern Canada on the executive from 1992 to 1996, and served as society president from 1995 through 1997. As past president she remained as a guiding hand for the executive, and in 1998 she became the society’s first official international liaison. The role of international liaison was a new one, because it was 1998 when the idea for the International Agreement amongst all the societies was conceived.

It is the history of these informal connections, as we have experienced them in Australia, that I wish to consider in this article.

摘要：提升索引类数据库的知识服务能力一直是图书馆与数据库服务商的追求目标，也是广大索引数据库用户的迫切需求。社交媒体的迅速发展，语义技术、知识本体技术的日益成熟，为提升索引数据库知识服务能力提供可行性。在整个索引数据库行业的发展中，国外涌现了很多成熟的、优质的数据库服务商。本文通过调研国外主流及有特色的索引库数据库，找出这些数据库知识服务的可借鉴的地方，分析知识服务背后的原因，得出它们的共同点，形成当今国外索引数据库知识服务的趋势分析，以期为国内同类数据库的知识服务能力的提升提供宝贵经验。

摘要：本文从平台发展现状和文献研究现状两个维度对中国引文索引的现状进行了分析。在平台发展现状方面，从内容和功能两方面加以阐述；在文献研究现状方面，利用可视化软件分别对主题、作者和机构等维度进行分析并做出相应总结。在此基础上，提出中国引文索引的发展趋势，以期为我国引文索引的相关研究提供一些借鉴。

摘要：本文以中美两国数据论文为研究对象，将《数据引文索引》（DCI）作为数据来源，从发文总量、被引频次、合著度、论文专业度、学科分布等角度和指标对中美两国近10年的数据论文进行计量比较分析，并通过构建两国学科领域共现网络对两国数据论文所涉及的学科领域关系以及关键的学科领域节点进行分析，从而了解我国数据论文出版的现状以及同国外科研强国之间的差异，为我国数据论文出版乃至科学数据共享、出版和研究的发展提供一定参考借鉴。
