Research Area
Dr. Zhang is mainly engaged in solid waste pollution control theory and resource utilization technology research, including: valuable resource recovery in solid waste, solid waste synthesis environmental functional materials, solid waste innocuous treatment and pollution control, waste biomass Resource utilization and so on. Emphasis is placed on hydrothermal synthesis, sintering synthesis, and the use of supercritical fluids, plasma technology resources to utilize electronic waste, biomass waste, and harmless disposal of hazardous waste. The main research projects hosted or participated include: National Science and Technology Support Program Key Project; National 973 Program Project; Ministry of Environmental Protection Public Welfare Project, Chinese Academy of Sciences Major Scientific Research Equipment Development Project; National Water Pollution Control and Governance Major Science and Technology Project; Sino-Japanese Cooperation Project; Natural Science Fund projects, etc. In the past 5 years, he has published more than 30 SCI papers and obtained more than 10 invention patents.
