会议背景介绍：     TGF'09 will be held in Shanghai, China. Shanghai is one of the biggest cities and the largest commercial and financial centers in China, which is the center for both research and technology of traffic dynamics and related fields as well. TGF'09 will take place in the Yanchang Campus, Shanghai University.
    The purpose of this conference is to develop the unified view of traffic and granular flow. Recent progress in modeling, computer simulation and phenomenology will be presented, and the perspective for applications to traffic control and ITS will be discussed.
