一、会议简介
伴随着移动通信、云计算、物联网的迅猛发展,人类社会诸多领域的数据信息呈现出井喷态势,大数据时代的大幕已然开启,与之相关的理论研究与实践探索正如火如荼。大数据环境下,居于信息管理前沿的图书情报与档案管理学,同样迎来一系列新挑战和新机遇,面临着教育理念变革、研究范式转换、实践服务升级等问题,这无疑是一项重大的时代课题。
基于上述情势,南京大学将于2016年11月3日至4日在仙林校区举办“第7届亚太图书情报教育与实践国际会议(The 7th Asia-Pacific Conference on Library & Information Education and Practice,简称A-LIEP 2016),诚邀请国内外学者及业界人士投稿与参会,就大数据时代图书情报学的创新发展进行研讨和交流。
A-LIEP作为重点关注图书情报教育与实践的地区性国际会议, 自2006年4月在新加坡南洋理工大学首次举办以来,迄今已召开过六届,为亚太地区图书情报领域的教育者、研究者和从业者们提供了一个交流与共享知识、经验和创新的良好平台, 极大促进了图书情报界地区间乃至全球范围的交流与合作。
我们诚挚期待您的参与,共襄盛举!

二、征文主题
本届会议的主题为“大数据时代图书情报学的创新发展”,下设图书情报教育、图书情报实践和图书情报研究三个分组。这三个分组的主题包括但不限于以下方面:

三、征文注意事项
征文投稿分为三类:
· 长论文:8~12页,单倍行距,Times New Roman 11号字体
· 短论文:4~7页,单倍行距,Times New Roman 11号字体
· 海报:1~2页摘要,单倍行距,Times New Roman 11号字体
会议征文模板已发布,详情请参见:http://aliep2016.nju.edu.cn 
会议录用论文将结集正式出版,优秀论文在修改后将推荐到LIBRES e-journal (新加坡)、 Journal of Data and Information Science(中国)和《数字图书馆论坛》(中国)期刊发表。

Call for Paper

The 7th A-LIEP will be held in Nanjing, China on 3-4 November 2016. Previous conferences have been organized by the University of the Philippines, Philippine (2015), Khon Khaen University, Thailand (2013), MARA University of Technology, Malaysia (2011), University of Tsukuba, Japan (2009), Shih-Hsin University, Taiwan (2007), and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (2006). This conference will be organized by Nanjing University, China. The School of Management at Nanjing University will host the conference, in collaboration with the College of Information Science & Technology at Nanjing Agricultural University and the School of Economics & Management at Nanjing University of Science & Technology. The location of this conference, Nanjing, is a famous historical and cultural city, which has a history of 2,500 years and is regarded as one of the “top four ancient cultural capitals of China”. We sincerely invite LIS educators, researchers and practitioners from all over the world to contribute your high-quality academic papers to the conference.

Full Papers: length 8 to 12 pages, single-spaced, Times New Roman 11 pt. font
Short Papers: length 4 to 7 pages, single-spaced, Times New Roman 11 pt. font

Call for Workshop Proposals

A-LIEP 2016 invites proposals for workshops to be hosted in conjunction with the conference. Workshops offer researchers and practitioners great opportunities for learning on specific topics and interests related to the education and practice of library & information science. Submissions in the area of the conference's main topics will receive preferential treatment. 

Workshop proposals are limited to 3 pages in length. The proposal should include the following information:
Title of proposed workshop
Names of organizers and their affiliations
A description of the qualifications of the organizers to host the workshop
A description of workshop including theme, goals, objectives, novelty, planned activities (an abstract or summary is recommended)
Brief description on primary audience being targeted and expected number of participants
A preliminary schedule for the workshop
Any special workshop requirements
A one-page workshop call-for-papers (such as the one the organizers would send out to invite attendees).

Please email your workshop proposals to the conference chairs by aliep2016@nju.edu.cn. Proposals are reviewed as they are received on a first come first served basis.
