WCSB9:
The 9th World Conference on
Sampling and Blending (WCSB9) will for the first time be held in Beijing, China
on May 6-9, 2019. Since the 1st WCSB was held in Denmark in 2003, the biennial
conference has been hosted successfully in Australia (WCSB2), Brazil (WCSB3),
South Africa (WCSB4), Chile (WCSB5), Peru (WCSB6), France (WCSB7) and Australia
(WCSB8).
The conference aims to cover current
research and theory in the field of sampling and blending, and share the latest
technological knowledge, operational practices and advances in the field. The
event will bring together geologists, engineers, metallurgists, grade
controllers, samplers, chemists, consultants and managers involved in all
aspects of sampling and blending include mining, cement, food, feed, pharmaceuticals,
agriculture, biology, and environmental protection.
The conference will provide great
opportunities for networking, meeting respected international sampling experts,
sharing ideas and catching up on the latest developments in sampling, sample
preparation and blending of a wide range of different commodities.
