There is a Senior Training Workshop on Urban Mining and Associated Pollution Prevention under “the Belt and Road Initiative” (hereafter in referred as “Senior Training Workshop”) being held in Beijing and Shanghai, China, from 20th March to 2nd April 2018, what is jointly hosted by the Basel Convention Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific (BCRC China) and the Shanghai Collaborative Innovation Centre for WEEE Recycling (WEEE Center). The Senior Training Workshop is aiming to enhance the communication and exchange between China and the partner countries of “the Belt and Road Initiative” on the field of urban mining and associated pollution prevention, the important approaches for achieving the sustainable utilization of resources and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, via technology and management experience sharing.
