2026 The 2nd International Symposium on Renewable
Driven by the global carbon neutrality goals, renewable energy and smart environmental monitoring technologies have become the core engines for tackling climate change, securing energy security, and achieving green development. Cutting-edge directions such as optical sensing, fiber-optic monitoring, hyperspectral remote sensing, and AI-empowered big-data analytics for energy and the environment are redefining the pathways for implementing the "dual carbon" strategy. Following the successful inaugural RESEM 2025, which has been indexed by EI Compendex, the Call for Papers for the Second International Conference on Renewable Energy and Smart Environmental Monitoring (RESEM 2026) is now officially open!
The conference is hosted by Baise University, co-organized by Wuzhou University, and undertaken by the School of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering, Baise University. It will be held in Baise, China, from December 4–6, 2026, dedicated to building a high-level international academic exchange platform in the field of renewable energy and smart environmental monitoring.

Publication and Indexing Accepted papers that complete registration and are presented on-site will be included in the conference proceedings and submitted for indexing in Ei Compendex and Scopus databases.
Ways to Participate

Paper Submission: Submit a full English paper on a topic within the conference scope. Articles accepted through peer review will be included in the conference proceedings, with core findings presented in an oral talk.

Oral Presentation: Apply for an oral presentation to showcase your research to global peers.

Poster Presentation: Prepare an A1-size (594 mm × 841 mm) poster following the template on the official website to present your research findings in graphical form.

Audience Participation Only: Attend the conference without submitting a paper, participate fully in Q&A sessions and academic exchanges, and may also apply to present or showcase your research progress.

Authors are requested to format their papers according to the official website template and send the fully formatted manuscript (Word + PDF) to the conference online system or conference email.

Abstract submission: Attend the conference with a presentation only (oral/poster), without paper publication.

Audience: No manuscript submission is required; registered audience members may attend all conference sessions.
Submission Requirements

Manuscript requirements: Full-length original research papers in English (not review articles), previously unpublished, with academic or applied value, and conforming to the basic structure of scientific papers. Authors may self-check for similarity using systems such as iThenticate at their own expense; the similarity rate must be ≤ 20%.

Submission guidelines: Papers should be formatted according to the template and submitted in both Word and PDF formats via the submission channel on the official conference website.

Length requirements: The main text (excluding references) should be 4–6 pages, with a minimum of 4 pages, and must contain clear figures, tables, and formulas; at least 10 references are required, with priority given to publications from the last three years. Papers exceeding 6 pages are subject to an extra-page fee.
