2025 年春季材料科学与技术国际会议 (MST-S)将于 2025 年 4 月 19 日至 21 日在中国桂林举行,是第 14 届春季世界工程与技术大会 (SCET 2025) 的分会之一。MST-S 2025 的目的是汇集对材料科学与技术的进步和应用感兴趣的研究人员、工程师和从业者。诚邀各位专家代表同聚桂林,共襄盛会!

Prof. Shu-Lin Bai Peking University, China Title: Strategy on Design and Manufacture of Polymer Composites with High Thermal Conductivity Mr. Shu-Lin Bai is full professor at School of Materials Science and Engineering, Peking University, China. He obtained BS (1983) on Materials Science and Engineering and MS (1986) on Experimental Mechanics from Dalian University of Science and Technology, China respectively, then PhD (1993) on Mechanics and Materials from Ecole Centrale des Arts et Manufactures de Paris, France. He joined College of Engineering of Peking University in 1994 and moved to School of Materials Science and Engineering in 2020. His expertise is on processing and performance of polymer composites filled with particles and fibers. His current research work focuses on heat management materials (mainly thermal interface materials-TIMs). He developed many kinds of TIMs composed of polymer matrix such as silicon rubber, PDMS, PA, PP, etc. and fillers/films such as graphene, CNTs, h-BN, graphite films, etc. Those TIMs have thermal conductivity varied from few Wm-1K-1 to several hundred Wm-1K-1. He was founder of conference of Asia-Europe Symposium on Processing and Properties of Reinforced Polymers. He has published more than 200 papers. |

Prof. Hongfa (Henry) Hu Automotive & Materials Engineering, University of Windsor, Canada Title: Modification of Al-Si-Cu-Ni Alloys for Potential Electrical Applications Dr. Hongfa (Henry) Hu is a tenured full Professor at Department of Mechanical, Automotive & Materials Engineering, University of Windsor. He was a senior research engineer at Ryobi Die Casting (USA), and a Chief Metallurgist at Meridian Technologies, and a Research Scientist at Institute of Magnesium Technology. 胡宏发博士 现任加拿大温沙大学机械,汽车材料工程系的终身正教授。他曾经在美国Ryobi 压力铸造有限公司任高级工程师,在Meridian 铸造有限公司任首席冶金学家,在此之前,他任加拿大魁北克镁合金技术研究所项目负责人。
He received degrees from University of Toronto (Ph.D., 1996), University of Windsor (M.A.Sc., 1991), and Shanghai University of Technology (B.A.Sc., 1985). He was a NSERC Industrial Research Fellow (1995-1997). His publications (over 200 papers) are in the area of magnesium alloys, composites, metal casting, computer modelling, and physical metallurgy. He was a Key Reader of the Board of Review of Metallurgical and Materials Transactions, a Committee Member of the Grant Evaluation Group for Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, National Science Foundation (USA) and Canadian Metallurgical Quarterly. The applicant’s current research is on materials processing and evaluation of light alloys and composites. His recent fundamental research is focussed on transport phenomena and mechanisms of solidification, phase transformation and dissolution kinetics. His applied research has included development of magnesium automotive applications, cost-effective casting processes for novel composites, and control systems for casting processes. His work on light alloys and composites has attracted the attention of several automotive companies. 胡宏发博士目前的研究方向是轻金属及其合金的加工和评估。他基本的研究主要集中在 凝固,轻合金铸造的建模及数值模拟,相变和分解动力机制。他的应用研究包括镁合金在汽车领域的应用,新材料的铸造过程和成本效益。他在轻金属及其合成材料方面的研究工作已经引起几大汽车公司的注意。 |

Prof. Osman Adiguzel Firat University, Elazig, Turkiye Title: Shape Reversibility and Temperature-Deformation Dependent in Memory Behavior of Shape Memory Alloys Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and he has been retired due to the age limit of 67, following academic life of 45 years. He published over 80 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 120 conferences and symposia in international and national level as Plenary Speaker, Keynote Speaker, Invited speaker, speaker or Poster presenter. He served the program chair or conference chair/co-chair in some of these activities. In particular, he joined in last six years (2014 - 2019) over 60 conferences as Speaker, Keynote Speaker and Conference Co-Chair organized by different companies in different countries. Additionally, he retired at the end of November 2019, and contributed with Keynote/Plenary Speeches over 60 Virtual/Webinar Conferences, due to the coronavirus outbreak in two year of his retirement, 2020 and 2021. Dr. Adiguzel served his directorate of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Firat University in 1999-2004. He supervised 5 PhD- theses and 3 M. Sc theses. He is also Technical committee member of many conferences. He received a certificate which is being awarded to him and his experimental group in recognition of significant contribution of 2 patterns to the Powder Diffraction File – Release 2000. The ICDD (International Centre for Diffraction Data) also appreciates cooperation of his group and interest in Powder Diffraction File. Scientific fields of Dr. Adiguzel: Shape memory effect and displacive phase transformations in shape memory alloys and other alloys, molecular dynamics simulations, alloy modeling, electron microscopy, electron diffraction, x-ray diffraction and crystallography. |

Prof. Fei You Nanjing Tech University, China Title: Dr., Prof. Fei You has hosted more than 70 projects with national and provincial levels. He has been authorized and accepted over 20 domestic and foreign invention and utility model patents (including China, the United States, the Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, etc.). He has published more than 130 papers (over 80 are SCI and EI indexed) in journals such as Journal of the American Ceramic Society, Cellulose, Polymer Degradation and Stability, Journal of Industrial Textiles, and other top journals of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in sub categories 1 and 2. He has served as a reviewer for over 20 domestic and foreign journals, such as Journal of Industrial Textiles, Nanotechnology Reviews, Advances in Polymer Technology, Journal of Composite Materials. He has participated in compiling and reviewed over 10 group and local standards of China. He is the chief editor and co-editor of over 10 textbooks and works. He has won the second prize of the 2022 China Invention Association Entrepreneurship Award-Innovation Award (ranking 1/6), etc. He has participated in more than 90 domestic and international academic conferences, served as a plenary or keynote speaker, host, chairman, and secretary-general, etc. He has visited more than 10 academic institutions in Hong Kong, Macao, the United States, Denmark, Sweden, Russia, Australia, for exchange visits and special invited presentations. He also has provided technical and social services for more than 80 high-tech and characteristic enterprises. |

Prof. Faheem Uddin Asian Institute of Fashion Design, Iqra University, Main Campus, Pakistan Title: Local development in re- using the textile fiber waste He graduated with specialization in textile technology at the department of applied chemistry, University of Karachi, and received Ph.D. in textile special finishing/ printing effects from University of Manchester, Manchester, UK. He is Fellow of The Textile Institute, Manchester, United Kingdom. He is the 3rd most cited author [with 435 citations of 1 articles] in Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A: Physical Metallurgy and Materials Science (2008) (clarivate impact factor- 2.3), a journal of American Society of Metal International and TMS (The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society); and principal author of 12th most cited paper in Cellulose (2021) [with 114 citations of an article], Clarivate impact factor 2.9 (2023). He is 1st most cited author in University of Management and Technology (2008) [with 435 citations of 1 articles], and 4th most cited paper in University of Management and Technology (lifetime achievement) [with 435 citations of an article]. More importantly, all his papers are focused on the topics having direct impact on environment and indigenous development of Pakistani industry and economy. He is the principal author with 1500 + citations in all of his peer- reviewed research publications, ranging over 40, and presented research at several international conferences. Invited to meet FOUR NOBEL LAUREATE in Celebrity Symposium, May 2010, organized by Wiley- VCH and Chemical Society of France. He received the Best Research Paper Award by HEC, Pakistan, and the Research Productivity Award, PSF, Pakistan. He is currently professor at Asian Institute of Fashion Design, Iqra University, Main Campus, Karachi.
His current research interests are in the processing of textiles, circular economy, sustainable processing, textile up-cycling and re-cycling, clay finishing effects; flame retardancy, cellulose/cotton cross-linking. |

Prof. Mahesh K. K. Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology, India Dr. Mahesh K.K. holds Ph.D. in Materials Science from Mangalore University, India. He has post-doctoral research experience at CENIMAT (Materials Research Centre), Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal. His research interests broadly involve Materials Science, Physical Metallurgy and X-ray crystallography. In specific, he is involved in the characterization (thermal, electrical, mechanical and structural) of shape memory alloys and investigating their phase transformations. He has participated in the collaborative experimental sessions at Synchrotron facilities for in-situ analyses of Ni-Ti SMAs at ESRF, France and DESY-HASYLAB, Germany. So far, Dr. Mahesh has publications of more than 70 peer reviewed research papers and participated in more than 40 international conferences. He is a reviewer to several journals of Elsevier, IOPscience and Trans Tech Publications. He has caried out one research project as Principal Investigator and 4 as Co-investigator in the field of Ni-Ti shape memory alloys. At present, he is a Professor of Physics at Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology, Bangalore, India. |

出版与检索
材料科学(MST)的文章将由瑞士TTP出版社进行发表并提交Ei Compendex databases检索。文章会后1-2月完成发表,会场拿不到纸质期刊。
请注意:2025年2月13日之后EI部分将停止接收稿件,需要发表全文的作者可以选择发表在另一本推荐的国际英文期刊上,非Ei检索。摘要参会的也可以继续投稿。
