2021 6th International Conference on Engineering Management (ICEM 2021) will be held in Beijing, China on September 03-05, 2021.

Speech Title:

Integrated maintenance scheduling, location and routing decisions problem for offshore wind farms

Abstract:

Offshore wind farms are very important to produce renewable energy, which help achieve sustainable development goals. Offshore wind farms, similar to other power generating plants, require maintenance work. A Service Operation Vessel and a Safe Transfer Boat (or Crew Transfer Vessel) are used to maintain a set of turbines in this setting. The aim is to dynamically and simultaneously find the best locations for the Service Operation Vessel in the plane (i.e., the sea) and to determine the best delivery and pick-up routes used by the Safe Transfer Boat to access the turbines. Given the limitations of solving this problem using exact methods in a continuous space, a hybrid model with a mixed-integer nonlinear programming and Genetic Algorithm is proposed. The computational results, using the Thanet offshore wind farm in the South East of the UK as an example, demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed hybrid method.

Publication

1.Submit to EI Conference Proceedings

All papers, both invited and contributed, will be reviewed by two or three experts from the committees. After a careful reviewing process, all accepted papers of ICEM2021will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

2.Call for Excellent Papers to SCI/SSCI Journal（Submission with notes of "W108" will enjoy priority in review and acceptance.）

Excellent papers will be recommended directly to the following or other suitable SCI journals :

Prospective authors are welcome to submit your full paper (for Presentation and Publication) to ICEM 2021 through the Online Submission System. If you are a new user, you need to sign up firstly. For presenter, please submit the abstract via this system as well. But the presentation will not be published.

1) Papers submitted to the conference should be in English.

2)Both Abstract and Full Paper are welcomed. The author can make an oral presentation after the Abstract is accepted and the payment is finished.

3) All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical. Articles submitted to the conference should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtual of any academic. Hence any act of plagiarism is a totally unacceptable academic misconduct and cannot be tolerated.
