会议背景介绍：

    A warm welcome to my dear colleagues and fellow participants in the Asian University Presidents Forum 2008!
    AUPF is a cooperative effort among Asian universities which offers an opportunity for presidents and other senior administrators of the member institutions to exchange creative ideas and share rich experiences. The past 6 forums have greatly proved and developed the value and significance of AUPF. This year’s forum with the theme “Education and Employment; International Communication; University Culture” will help us farther on the way of Asian university cooperation. It will also mark a new beginning of more all-around collaborative efforts among the member institutions in the future.
    This year Anhui University is celebrating her 80th anniversary. I am very honored that our university can host the Asian University Presidents Forum upon this important occasion. I believe with all of the distinguished guests’ presence and witness, our anniversary celebration will be more meaningful and splendid. I am certain that the kind advice and suggestions from all the guests will shine the way ahead to the development of our university.

征文范围及要求：

Papers for oral presentations based on the theme and sub-themes are invited. All abstracts and full papers in electronic and hard copies should reach the Forum Secretariat at Anhui University by July 31st, 2008. The Electronic copies should be submitted via e-mail attachment to aupf2008@yahoo.cn. Please use Microsoft Word Program(Times New Roman 12).
A period of 15 minutes will be allocated for each paper presentation.
