会议背景介绍：

The First International Jujube Symposium (1st IJS) sponsored by ISHS (International Society for Horticultural Science) will be held in Agricultural University of Hebei, Baoding on 21-25 September, 2008. The IJS aims at providing a forum for exchanging information among researchers and academicians as well as related businessman and officials. I sincerely invite you to attend the symposium. Let’s try together to make it a great and historic gathering on jujube (Ziziphus).

征文范围及要求：

You are welcome to contribute papers to be presented orally or as posters at the conference. The format of presentation and the section will be assigned based on author’s options and content. The manuscripts will be evaluated and revised by two reviewer, and acceptable papers will be published in a volume of the ISHS series Acta Horticulturae after the conference.

Submittal Instructions

The submitted Abstract Form must be camera-ready.
Use only the original abstract form. If you require additional copies, please inform us at the congress secretariat. The abstract form can also be downloaded at www.ziziphus.net/2008.
Abstract should be typed in black ink within the frame on the official Abstract Form or on a rectangle 120 X 155mm. Do not type or print on or outside the box line. Please do not fold.
Abstracts must be submitted and presented in English.
The presenter of the abstract must be one of the authors of the abstract, and he or she cannot present more than two abstracts.
Only those abstracts that had not been previously published prior to the dates of the congress are entitled to be submitted for consideration. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Congress Abstract Book.
In order for the abstract to be published, the presenter must pre-register for the congress. The deadline for pre-registration is February 1, 2006
Please be sure that all requested information on the Abstract Form is given.
