会议背景介绍：

Crop modeling and decision tools are increasingly affecting agriculture. Various forms of information technology are being adopted in agriculture as technology advances. The main goal of this symposium is to exchange the state-of-the-science of current modeling and simulation approaches and discuss future directions needed for advancement. A second goal is to explore opportunities for team collaboration and information exchange on crop modeling and decision support leading to on-farm applications, such as precision and prescription farming, and modernization of agricultural production processes.

征文范围及要求：

Authors are invited to submit an abstract no later than 31 December 2007. Guides of abstract are available on the website listed below or click here. Abstracts will be reviewed by the Program Committee, and selected abstracts will be invited for a full paper by 31 Jan 2008. Full papers should be submitted by March 31, 2008 for Proceedings CD.
Papers will be presented either in oral or poster sessions, as determined by the Program Committee. The papers, after peer review, will be published in a book following the symposium. A limited number of papers, according to their quality, will be submitted as a group to a journal for publication following normal journal requirements.
