会议背景介绍：

Recent years have seen rapid advances in various grid-related technologies, grid middleware as well as grid applications. The GCC conference has become one of the world-wide largest scientific events in the area of grid and cooperative computing. The 7th international conference on grid and cooperative computing (GCC2008) is to be held Oct. 24-26, 2008 in Shenzhen, China. Shenzhen is situated in the southern province of Guangdong, which borders Hong Kong.

征文范围及要求：

    Unpublished original papers are solicited. The proceedings of GCC2008 will be published by IEEE Computer Society. Papers must be written in English, and they should be at most 15 pages, including bibliography and well-marked appendices. The manuscript should be in single column, double-spaced format, using a font size of 10 points or larger.
    Papers are to be submitted electronically to our conference management system, http://www.siat.ac.cn/gccpaper, in PDF or Windows-word format. Please feel free to email gcc2008@siat.ac.cn  with your questions.
    Submissions imply the willingness of at least one author to register, attend the conference, and present the paper.
    Selected papers will be considered for publication in International Journal of Grid and Utility Computing (IJGUC), International Journal of Web Services Research and International Transactions on Systems Science and Applications (ITSSA).
